Mini Salted Caramel Cupcakes
It is hard to resist these cute and tasty cupcakes – an easy fix for any tea party.
Ingredients
1 Box of your favorite yellow cake mix
1 recipe vanilla butter cream icing
Caramel Sauce
Sea Salt
Mini Pretzels
Vanilla Butter Cream icing:
1 stick butter, softened
1 lb confectioner’s sugar
Milk
Directions:
Line 48 mini cupcake pans with liners. Prepare cake mix as directed. Bake cupcakes and set
aside to cool.
Make Butter Cream icing. Beat softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Add milk, 1
teaspoon at a time and beat until spreading consistency.
Ice cooled cupcakes with decorator tip. Drizzle caramel sauce over icing and lightly sprinkle
with sea salt. Garnish with mini pretzel.
Make ahead note:
For a stress free tea party, make the cupcakes ahead. Freeze. Take out the night before your
tea party and thaw in refrigerator. The next morning, drizzle with sauce, salt and garnish.
